Facilities
Early Birds is located in its own club building (and overflow classrooms) within Knowle Primary School. Parking is available in the nearby shoppers’ car park or in Kixley Lane. We have a secure, sunny garden around the building, and have access to the school's playground and field.
The building is bright and cheerful, being open-plan for group activities with small, designated areas where the children can look at books and play quietly. The building's contents have been arranged to create a safe and fulfilling environment for young children.
There are water and sand play facilities, an area that might be a grocery shop one week and a garden centre the next, reading corners with a well-stocked library, a multimedia computer loaded with educational software and a games machine for the children attending the kids club.
The cloakrooms are designed for small children, with miniature toilets and washbasins.
